For large projects, especially in offshore wind energy, 900 to 1,000 Ekki mats are easily used at one site.
For our projects, we rely on mats made of 100% Azobe. These are used to protect surfaces, for example in ports, but also for load distribution under the tracks. In the extreme strokes, weights of load + crane + counterweight of 2,500 tonnes often come together and are distributed over 24 mats. You need mats of the highest quality, and that is what Ko-Mats offered us. Even after more than 640 passes, the mats were still as good as new, even 90° turns could not do much damage to the mats.
Crane Mats are also indispensable for normal industrial applications and in wind energy. Not only do they provide sufficient protection for the undercarriage of the crawler, they can also be ideally used in the field to safely mount the boom systems of the cranes, which can be up to 180 m long.
